My “En Vogue” Collection is inspired by icons of fashion, both current and historical…styles that have endured the test of time and trends.
The first piece in this collection is inspired by Anna Wintour, the editor-In-Chief of Vogue magazine since 1988 and Global Chief Editorial content Officer for Conde Nast. Her trademark pageboy haircut and dark “Jackie” sunglasses, are unmistakably Anna. She is the iconic leading figure in the fashion world who an make or break trends
and inspired the film “The Devil Wears Prada”.
She’s created a signature look wearing antique Riviere necklaces. The name Riviere comes from the French for “River”, so the meaning is a river of gems that flows around the neck. They are sometimes mistakenly called Riviere necklaces. Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has also favored wearing these dazzling circles of gems.
These antique necklaces were popular in Georgian and Victorian times,
also known as Collet set necklaces when the stones are set in a crimped
mount of Collet. The first necklace in my “En Vogue” Collection was
inspired by her signature dazzling collet, and is made with freshwater
Pearls, 24kt Gold bead accents, featuring trillion cut London Blue
Topaz. My “En Vogue” Collection also features the Triple Gem Drop
necklace inspired by Meghan Markle.
